Terms of Service

1. The service

AnswerTrace provides tools for AI visibility measurement, diagnosis, and content execution — helping brands understand how they appear in AI-generated answers across major AI engines.

The service is provided on an "as is" basis. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features may change, be added, or be retired over time. We will communicate significant changes in advance where possible.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Do not share your password. Any activity that occurs under your account is your responsibility.

You must be at least 18 years old to use AnswerTrace. If you are signing up on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use AnswerTrace for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms. Specifically, you must not:

• Use the platform to promote or support illegal products, services, or activities.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape the platform, its code, or its data.
• Share account access with people who are not authorised users under your plan.
• Use the service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the platform or interfere with other users.

4. Intellectual property

AnswerTrace owns the platform, its underlying technology, and all associated intellectual property. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of the platform or its technology to you.

You own your brand data and the scan results generated for your account. We do not claim ownership over the content you configure or the reports you produce. You grant us a limited licence to process your data solely to provide the service to you.

5. Payment

Paid plans are billed on the terms described at the time of purchase (monthly or annual, as selected). All fees are stated in the applicable currency at checkout.

We do not offer refunds except where required by applicable law. If you cancel a paid plan, you retain access until the end of your current billing period.

We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any pricing changes. Continued use of a paid plan after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AnswerTrace is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform, including loss of revenue, loss of data, or loss of business opportunity.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under these terms is limited to the fees you have paid to AnswerTrace in the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

7. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting us at hello@answertrace.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period for paid plans.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law. We will attempt to notify you before taking action except where immediate action is required.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes, we will send you an email notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect.

Continued use of AnswerTrace after the effective date of updated terms constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you should stop using the service before they take effect.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi, India.
