What is the difference between a brand and a product?
A brand is the company you track, like Acko. A product is a specific offering inside that brand: Acko sells Car Insurance, Bike Insurance, and Health Insurance, so each is a separate product. Each plan caps how many brands you can track and how many products per brand.
Which AI tools do you track?
Four: ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Claude, and Perplexity. Free starts with ChatGPT only. Pro covers all four. Perplexity is on our roadmap and rolls out before the launch of paid plans.
How do buyer questions translate into AI measurements?
Each question runs across every AI tool your plan covers, once per scan. On Growth that means 100 questions × 3 engines × weekly = 300 measurements/week. On Pro it means 200 questions × 4 engines × twice-a-week ≈ 1,600 measurements/week. More measurements = tighter signal on which competitors are winning where.
What payment methods do you accept?
Indian and international credit/debit cards, UPI, netbanking, and wallets via Razorpay. Higher tiers can also pay via NACH eMandate for recurring annual billing. All amounts are charged in INR.
Is there a free trial of paid plans?
The Free tier serves as your trial: no credit card needed, one full scan to see what AnswerTrace surfaces. If you want to try a paid tier, annual billing gives you 2 months free as a built-in safety margin.
Can I change plans or cancel anytime?
Yes. Upgrade right away and the new entitlements activate on the next scan. Cancel from your billing page anytime; your plan stays active until the current cycle ends, then drops to Free.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your scans and reports remain accessible for 30 days after cancellation so you can export anything you need. After that, scan history is deleted. Brand setup data (competitors, prompts, language choice) is retained so you can pick up where you left off if you return.
How long until I see my first report?
The first scan completes in about 3 to 5 minutes. Full diagnostic, competitor analysis, and action plan are ready in about 10 minutes total. You can start reading the funnel and per-question results while the action plan finishes synthesising.
Why is GST shown separately?
We are GST-registered in India (GSTIN 09ABFCA5015J1ZP). The price you see is the base; we add 18% GST at checkout. If your business is GST-registered, you claim it back as input tax credit, so the real cost stays the same.
Do you offer custom plans?
Yes. For 10+ brands, SSO, custom DPA, custom CMS integrations, or anything outside the standard tiers, write to us. We will scope an Enterprise quote within 2 business days.
Which languages do you cover?
Free uses English. Starter adds Hinglish. Growth adds Hindi. Pro adds one regional language of your choice: Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, Kannada, Gujarati, Punjabi, or Malayalam. Need a second regional language? Talk to us about Enterprise.
What if I hit my buyer questions cap per scan?
The cap (10 / 25 / 100 / 200 by tier) is enforced per scan. Hit it and either upgrade to the next tier or talk to us about Enterprise. Most brands fit comfortably within Growth or Pro; if you find yourself wanting 300+ buyer questions, you have an Enterprise-shaped problem.
How is Pro different from Growth, specifically?
4 products (vs 2), all 4 AI engines (vs 3), 200 buyer questions (vs 100), twice-a-week scans (vs weekly), unlimited ready-to-publish articles (vs 3/month), and real-time Slack alerts on rank drops. Traffic attribution, the ability to correlate AI visibility changes with actual traffic lift, is committed for Pro and lands soon.
